The first step to sort of being good at something is to suck at it, according to Jake the dog from Adventure Time. Which is why I thought, fuck it, I’ll write the newsletter. Blogging seems a bit too stressful, plus I hate the title of “Blogger”. It’s just an all around ugly word. Is that weird? I always thought words that started with a “B” sounded so rough and ugly. I used to hate my nickname because it started with a B.
This is such a lovely article! Especially the bit on Nostalgia. I also really loved the quote ‘I missed you more than I remember you’ (perhaps it ties in a little with Nostalgia, if seen from another perspective).
The theme of Nostalgia, as discussed, hits a strong chord with me. To me, its reminiscent of a first love. And yet, as with everything, it ebbs and surges, it waxes and wanes in intensity.
